Lush; New Solid Shampoo Bar

Are any of you guys suffering from hair loss? I know i am, i don't know whether its due to stress from uni work or the fact that my diet isn't as healthy as it could be, or it could possibly even be a result of my straighteners.  Personally i think its got something to do with the evil eye lool. I promise you when i was younger i used to have so much hair, it was proper thick and jet black and no one would say MashAllah :( I BLAME YOU ALL AUNTY JI'S. Anyways i'm pretty sure its a combination of things.

For a while now i've been trying all sorts of things to regain my healthy thick hair that i used to once have *wipes tears away* but they haven't made a drastic improvement.  I literally haven't straightened or curled my hair in about 2years i think and have been using an assortment of hair oils such as: rosemary essential oil; which stimulates hair growth and good for the scalp, coconut oil, argan oil; which can be found it the famous moroccan oil and avocado oil; which when massaged on scalp can improve blood flow thus stimulate hair growth. There are a number of ways you can use these oil, whether it be separately or mixed together, as a hair conditioner for everyday use or as a hair mask. I use it as a hair mask about every week or so and would get my little pot and mix the ingredients together like i would be making some sort of special potion

Like i said i haven't seen a drastic change and so in my recent trip to Westfield i popped into Lush and was told by the sales assistant of a product that apparently was, i quote 'amazing'. I believe its called 'New' solid shampoo bar.
Having looked at the ingredients i was convinced that it must be good, as when i was purchasing my oils, had done my reading and remembered the ingredients mentioned in the New solid shampoo bar were specifically good for hair growth. I won't pretend that the sales lady helped me much except point me in the right direction but its good to know that she new her lush products well, as normally the sales assistant would just pick out the most expensive product and claim it works miracles.
It contains: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Nettle and Peppermint Infusion, Glycerine, Nettle Absolute, Rosemary Absolute, Bay Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil,Cinnamon Leaf Oil, *Cinnamal, *Eugenol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 73360,Cinnamon sticks.
The bay oil, clove bud oil, and cinnamon leaf leaf oil, work together to to stimulate the scalp and hair follicles for healthy hair growth. The peppermint oil stimulates the blood flow, which in turn gives the follicles a boost. The bar only costs £5.25 which in my opinion is relatively cheap and apparently can be used for upto 80 washes...that's 15p a wash - bargain! It is also one of those shampoos that you can use regularly as it is of light consistency.

To use the product you simply wash it between your hands and lather it into you head. You would actually be surprised by the amount of product you get from a few rubs as it is enough to wash your whole head. The actual smell when you use the bar is very strong however it doesn't linger once you are out the bath. Also to my surprise it left my hair feeling soft and healthy. Many have said it leaves their hair dry, i've personally not encountered this but if you do just use a good conditioner. I would recommend this to people and for only £5.25 you cant go wrong!

Hello blog world

So i finally plucked up enough courage to start my very own blog. It took A LOT of persuading and deliberation to do so, but i got there in the end. I suppose my main reason to why i shouldn't start one was 'why in the hell would anyone want to read what i have to say?'  I mean lets be serious i'm no celebrity, so there really is no reason to why people would/should read what i have to say. Regardless it came down to the fact that i actually enjoy writing and have an abnormal addiction to make-up, so i though why not just start a blog and share my unhealthy and expensive hobby.

so here is my story that led me to this page...

My obsession with make-up started when i began to use YouTube more, i would regularly watch make-up tutorials from Tanya Burr and the Pixiwoo sisters and remember thinking 'Oohh.I.Need.That!' Slowly the list of YouTubers i watched increased and so did the list of things i needed to buy, i would literally make a list on my mobile of make-up items i needed to try out and buy. From watching those videos i managed to increase my collection from what was just my mums mascara and eye kohl to eyeliners, eye shadow, blushers, foundation, concealers, bronzers etc. Those Youtubers could quite  literally be millionaires by the amount of make up they persuade people to buy...i see why they all quit their sales assistant jobs. Anyways back to my journey to this page, so as my interest in make-up increased i began to look around websites to buy products that you could only get in America and had to be sure they were worth being bought and so started reading reviews. Through this i found some really cool bloggers and enjoyed reading their beauty and non beauty posts and thought to myself that i could do this/would like to do this and i can now chat about things that are on my mind. And trust me, i can chat forever. I also like to procrastinate, so doing anything but Uni work is always fun :)

Sooo, here i am today, writing this up.... explaining why i am writing that LOL

P.S this blog won't just be make-up posts, being me i will most probably blog about my rants and random things :)
